Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

I had this whole big dinner planned to make today from Crazy Sexy Kitchen.  You would have loved it. What am I saying, I would have loved it.  It will have to wait.  I just found out my best friend has a connecting flight is Las Vegas tonight.  So you know what that means?  I have to go see her!  You see she lives in London.  I don't get to see her often enough.  We have been best friends since the 9th grade.  We have seen each other through lots of ups and downs.  She was with me when I gave birth to my daughter.  She babysat my older kids when I had my littlest son.  Ya want to know a secret... She is gonna have a baby.  Her first baby! I can't wait to see her belly.

Life is sweet, so today you get Vanilla Bean Ice cream.  Here is what you will need for the sweet life.

This ice cream wasn't like the sorbet I made. This was creamy and yummy.  I decided to grind the soaked cashews in my coffee bean grinder to really blend them up.  Then I put all the ingredients in the blender.  Lastly, into the ice cream maker.

 I am off to Sin City!  Vegas baby! Wish me luck!
